The coop is a pretty awesome place for all groups of people to hang, have a drink and watch some stellar performances. It has the appeal of a place where original bands are born. Its the CBGBs of the West.

I've been to the COOP twice now with my man. It's an okay bar, both times were at closing. At that time their wasn't many people but I like it that way, elbow room! The prices are a little steep! Plus on the last game of pool my husband realized that the table was open which means that u didn't have to pay your quarters to play and everyone was paying even us🙃🎱

Food was not very good , lots of people without masks and crowded together 🤬 but the beer was cold just not cold enough to overcome the rest of the experience 🤪

Didn’t even have to step in the place to be disappointed. My family and I were here in Bandera during the Mardi Gras and called to just ask if this place was excepting reservations. By the time they picked up the phone the lady responds before we can even get a word in... “Sorry, can’t hear you. We are busy so don’t call back. BYE!” If you are so busy just leave your phone off the hook. No need to be so rude. Will not even be walking into this place and will make sure I tell anyone going to Bandera, Tx not to do so either. Highly disappointed.

A great place to go if your party has less than 8 kids under 10.. ours did and that added entropy ... it’s a biker bar... Great chicken though

Family owned. Good people. The coop has a warm friendly atmosphere with quick bites to eat. The burgers are the best. Never a bad experience.

I love the bartenders and the bands, but it's often very packed- standing room only- and only 1 pool table

You get surrounded by great people

I've never had a bad time at the Coop. It's family friendly before 9pm. And if you're looking for a pool game with a worthy opponent chances are good you will find one there. Full bar, food, pool table, karaoke, live bands, cowboys, and cowgirls.... Chickin Coop has it all.

Friendly environment and good service ,alittle pricey but over all good place.

David Gould cooked an awesome shroom burger and fish tacos.

Order some appetizers and drinks and they were pretty good.

We often stop here when we ride through Bandera. You do wait a while for food, mainly because they are understaffed, but honestly if you are just wanting to relax and watch the city and have a drink and a bite to eat, it is great. We love to sit on the patio and chill. Their fried mushrooms are excellent. If you're visiting Bandera with friends or are out on a date, I say definitely stop by.

Home town stop with true Bandera spirit. Stop every chance we get.

Nice little bar, good selection of drinks and some awesome live music. Quite spacious with outdoor seating and open atmosphere. If I lived closer this would be a solid contender for favorite.

Good food and service but not a smoke free restaurant. That was a major turn off.

The pulled pork nachos are a little Texas heaven.

Been going there for 3 years. New chef/cook there last visit. Very dissapointing when compaired to many previous visits. Previously would have given it 5 Stars. Bar is great, other foodstuffs are probably great. My wife and I had drilled chicken sandwich and chicken burger. Chicken was tough as a boot!

Stopped in for a quick afternoon snack and a glass of wine while shopping. Local shop owners told us the coop had best onion rings in town and they did not disappoint. Mom loved the outdoor seating for people watching.

They were hospital to me and my.boys as we celebrated the Marine Corps 244th birthday. We will certainly be going back next year for our celebration.

Hands down the best fried chicken sandwich I have ever had. Even the last bite was still warm and juicy. They make everything in house. Those onion rings were pretty great too! I think the lady that owns the joint bartends and waits the tables yet service was excellent as well because she knows what she's doing!
